The report, “BTI Law Firm Innovation Icons 2025,” spotlights firms that “are reshaping the legal market to better serve clients.” The findings are based on unprompted responses from top legal decision-makers at companies with $1 billion or more in annual revenue.
“Innovative law firms offer solutions,” BTI notes in the report. “They don’t wait to be asked. They lead the charge, define new ground and pave the way for others.”
The report ranks law firms in four categories: Legal Strategy Innovators, Client Facing Innovators, Tech Savvy Innovators, and Generative AI Innovators. Notably, McGuireWoods was among the top firms identified as a “powerhouse” for innovative legal strategies that mitigate risk and deliver “value-added extras.”
In interviews with BTI researchers, clients praised the firm’s commitment to offering bold, business-focused solutions.
