Casey concentrates her practice in middle-market finance transactions, with a focus on senior secured acquisition financings. Her experience includes syndicated and secured senior financings, acquisition financing, ABL finance, real estate finance, and franchise finance. Casey’s lending clients include both regulated banks and private credit funds. Casey has particular experience advising agents, lenders and sponsors on structuring, negotiating and documenting credit facilities in connection with acquisitions in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, oil and gas, industrials, franchises and cloud-based enterprises.

Casey serves as co-chair of the Women Lawyers Network of the Chicago Office and as a member of the Chicago office’s recruiting committee. Casey is a host on the firm’s Deal Us In podcast, which is run through the firm’s Women in Private Equity & Finance initiative.

Outside the firm, Casey serves on the Alumni Leadership Council for Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) and is involved with a variety of pro bono legal organizations, including Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Wills for Heroes, and Free Legal Answers.

Prior to joining the firm, Casey was an associate at an AmLaw 200 firm and served as a PILI Fellow at Legal Aid Chicago.

  • Represent agent in establishing a revolving, term and delayed draw term loan credit facility for a cloud-based staffing solutions provider.
  • Represent sponsors in connection with refinancing of existing second-lien and split-lien credit facilities in the healthcare, industrials and sporting goods spaces.
  • Representing agents in connection with establishing incremental credit facilities to finance an acquisition across a variety of industries.
